The river is still running to fast to swim, and we had to take the pool down cause there were to many damn bees...Thankfully we live 2 minutes from the lake!
The kids love swimming here...When there is a little wind (Which there always is in the Nicola Valley) the lake is just like a wave pool!
I haven't taken Russell swimming yet this year, but he likes wading into the water.
He also enjoys fighting with Zane...Zane was trying to get Russell's cup so the tug a war over the diaper bag began!
Zane loved the water...
We tried to stage a nice picture of the boys...I wanted them to hold hands or something...Ya, not going to happen..They decided to try to pull each others hair instead...
Russell was actually kind of grouchy yesterday...He's still so cute when he's grumpy though :)

ReplyDeleteDid you know I grew up on a lake too. Lake Alexandrina. We lived down at the lake during summer and often took salads and cold roast chicken to have for dinner staying until dark, these photos remind me of those days.

I'm jealous you live so close to water. We just got back from vacation and Claire couldn't get enough of the pool. She would love playing in the lake.
